Dr. Joel Phillips is double board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. He practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a focus on Mohs micrographic surgery, a procedure he has performed since 2005. His formal education and training include:

Some of Dr. Phillips’ special interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology (including Botox® Cosmetic and injectable fillers), and Mohs micrographic surgery. He is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS) and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS), the South Carolina Dermatological Association (SCDA), and the Piedmont Dermatological Society. He is past Secretary/Treasurer of the Piedmont Dermatological Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with his family, water sports, snow skiing, travel, and wildlife/land management.
